Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a User Applications Liaison 3/4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing project systems-related support to the Sector’s Program Cost Analyst (PCA) and Project Accounting organizations. This position can be located at any of our major Northrop Grumman space locations. We may consider a remote worker for this role.

Roles and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Finding creative and efficient solutions to the business challenges of a diverse Space Sector and customer base.
Acting as a conduit between Program Cost Analysts, Business Management, Contracts, Cost Accounting, other functional areas, other sector’s Project Systems organizations, and Enterprise Services.
Providing support to functional users of 1ERP/S4 Hana project-related systems such as SAP and Business Warehouse.
Participating in and/or leading various functional User Groups and Change Control Boards.
Identifying and troubleshooting software processing and reporting issues.
Identifying potential process/system enhancements.
Testing software enhancements/patches prior to their introduction into the production environment.
Developing, maintaining and delivering training to the Business Management community; and defining/refining and documenting business processes in response to changes.
Participating in non-recurring projects representing the interest of the Project Systems and Project setup organizations within the non-recurring projects (i.e., S4 Hana, Phase 5, Sector Re-org).

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4.
Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with 6+ years of applicable experience – OR – 4+ years with a Master’s Degree.
Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with 10+ years of applicable experience – OR – 8+ years with a Master’s Degree.
Additional Basic qualifications for both levels:
Knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS) module.
Knowledge of general corporate business processes and practices.
Proficient business writing and presentation skills with the ability to plan and carry out complex projects across multiple functions.
Ability to advise and interact with sector senior management as well as management across sectors.
Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Broad knowledge of the 1ERP Project Systems (PS) module and a thorough understanding of the Project Systems and Project Setup processes.
Broad understanding of the 1ERP model, interrelationships between contracts, billing and other business processes.
Strong commitment to regulatory compliance and internal controls.
Demonstrated process improvement using a disciplined approach.
Experience with project systems and business management.
Ability to plan and carry out complex strategic projects and provide insight and results for data calls.
Ability to advise and interact with the highest levels of management.
Experience in partnering with multiple functional organizations.
Salary Range: $84,200 - $146,300
Salary Range 2: $104,400 - $181,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
