Northrop Grumman Tax and Cost Estimating Analyst 2 in McLean, Virginia

Northrop Grumman's Global Mobility Office (GMO) is seeking a Global Mobility Tax and Estimating Analyst to assist with expatriate taxes and develop estimates for all company work assignments. The GMO works in conjunction with sectors, programs, and key functional areas to ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements and mitigate the risk of conducting business worldwide through education and partnership.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Workclosely with professional service partners and interact with assigneesto provide expatriate tax compliance, consulting, and planning

  • Assist with administration of tax equalization policies and procedures

  • Coordinate pre and post-departure assignee briefings and policy interpretation

  • Provide support for tax-related issues by researching matters and assisting with problem resolution

  • Interfacewith sector capture teams and programs to gather data necessary toprepare assignment estimates in accordance with applicable laws andregulations, Northrop Grumman policies and department instructions

  • Collaboratewith the larger GMO team and other internal stakeholders to applycountry-specific knowledge concerning immigration, host country laborlaw, and tax requirements to the estimating task

  • Prepare CostEstimating Worksheets and Qualitative Guidance documentation in responseto requests and in accordance with department instructions

  • Contributeto the improvement of estimating tools and processes, as well asprovide support to special research and analyses in support of Companyand GMO strategic goals and compliance initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3years' of relevant experience in one of the following disciplines (orcombination thereof): accounting, finance, pricing, program control, orconsulting focused on providing business strategies, competitiveintelligence, or market research

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

  • Excel - creating and editing spreadsheets

  • Word - proposal package guidance, policies, and procedures

  • PowerPoint - developing effective presentations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to the proposals process, pricing, and financial management of operational programs

  • Strong interest in Accounting and Tax

  • Interest in contributing to the growth of Northrop Grumman's global business base

  • Adept at complex Microsoft Excel functions

  • Familiarity with global mobility concepts and international assignments
