Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) sector is seeking a Senior Principal 4 to join the Sector Rates and Budgets Team. This position reports directly to the DS Sector Manager, Rates and Budgets, and will be located in McLean, VA. This role will primarily be responsible for the integration of the Sector home office cost, allocations and rate performance process. The position will also develop monthly performance metrics, Annual Operating Plan supplemental budgets, and forecast the NGDS home office, analyzing impacts when cost shifts occur and communicating to the division business management teams, enabling a holistic financial view of the cost structure.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for monthly and annual budget preparation of the Sector/Division level 3FF and home office metrics including but not limited to corporate allocations, Enterprise Services allocations, international transfer pricing and home office rates.
Responsible for balance sheet metrics and forecasting of over/under applied in comparison to monthly rate performance, indicated final, and rate-related sector cash impacts.
Responsible for sector unallowable, capital and investment reporting
Assisting with the preparation of the annual FPRP, including creating submission templates, analyzing data, and working with the Sector team when finalizing the submission files
Assisting with the annual DCAA FPRP audit
Interacting with personnel and management at all levels, to include Sector and division leadership and division finance staff.
Bachelor's Degree in business management or related field plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; 8 years with Master's Degree.
Evidence of ability to work independently and apply sound judgment to problem solving
Able to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Excellent written and oral communication abilities with all levels and functions within the organization
Strong SAP and excel skills
Experience interacting with DCMA/DCAA supporting various audits
Knowledge of CAS/FAR
Prior knowledge of Indirect Rates
