Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Team. The CDM program is a DHS-managed approach to fortifying the cybersecurity of government networks and systems. CDM provides federal departments and agencies with capabilities and tools that identify cybersecurity risks on an ongoing basis, prioritize these risks based upon potential impacts, and enable cybersecurity personnel to mitigate the most significant problems first.

The Procurement Analyst is responsible for understanding the objective of the program, and communicating needs to the procurement team. This individual will be responsible for entering all procurement purchases using Northrop Grumman’s internal tool for processing requests. This position can be filled at level 2 or 3.

Specific responsibilities of this role include:

• Define and implement initiatives for quality control and improvement

• Prepare and develop procurement reporting

• Help develop and implement procurement concepts, workflows, activities and information explicit with program objectives

• Ensure all procurement activities meet critical deadlines and milestones

• Train new employees with tool and system processes

• Demonstrate fairly complex tasks and processes

• Complete special projects, as needed

• Report and escalate to management as needed

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• At least 6 years of experience in defining and implementing business and systems requirements; or 4 years of experience with Masters

• Understands and applies system principles, concepts, practices, and standards

• Knowledgeable in industry practices, policies and standards

• Possess strong analytical skills

• Possess strong planning and execution skills

• Demonstrated ability to serve as an effective liaison between project teams, internal and external stakeholders

• Demonstrated excellent written and oral communications skills

• Proven collaborator in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work independently in an Agile environment

• Must be a U. S Citizen (to have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS suitability EOD

• Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

• Advanced in SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting cyber security initiatives

• Experience supporting DHS programs

• TS clearance

• SCI eligibility
