Northrop Grumman Technology Services Sector is seeking a Human Resources Manager (HRM) to lead both the strategy and execution of the HR Sector Operating Objectives (redeployment and attrition) as well as the human capital objectives of the division. This position will be located in McLean, VA.
In this position, the HRM will also serve as the lead HR support to the division staff client group. This position is aligned with the Systems Modernization and Systems (SMS) division, reporting to the Division HR Director, and will have direct people management responsibility.
Emphasis will be placed on and the design and successful execution of human capital strategies that are aligned with business objectives and contribute to business results. Success in the role will require ability to positively influence, collaborate, and effectively manage matrixed resources to accomplish the following core responsibilities:
Collaborate with the business and HR team, with specific emphasis on key programs, to provide guidance on a wide range of talent priorities (including but not limited to retention & redeployment strategies, talent development, and organizational effectiveness)
Lead the development of competitive, innovative, and efficient workforce strategies in support of current and new business efforts (i.e. program staffing & structure, workforce planning, leveraging at-risk talent)
Balance strategy and operational requirements to ensure results are both business-aligned and executable
Leverage data analytics to measure outcomes, drive business results, and influence decision making in areas such as retention, redeployment, and staffing
Create operational efficiencies across the HR team by identifying and scaling best practices to improve overall team effectiveness

•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field, plus a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
•Proven experience with project management, to include successfully leading a project team
•Experience developing and executing strategy that aligns with business needs
•Demonstrated use of data analytics in support of the business/helping to drive business results
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
•US Citizenship required
•Master’s Degree in Human Resources, or related field
•Experience working on new business pursuits/captures/proposal teams
•Previous experience serving as a trusted advisor to leadership using coaching and influence
•Demonstrated use of data analytics to predict business outcomes
•Experience preparing and presenting executive-level briefings
•Mastery in Microsoft Excel
