Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Engineer SupplierQuality 4, to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in theWichita, KSarea as a telecommute positionthat willrequire full time support on site at the suppliers locaton.
The selected candidate will collaborate with program management, engineering, subcontracts/procurement functional management and supplier management teams to ensure that all procurements meet or exceed the requirements of external and internal customers. Candidate will perform in process and final buy off inspections of hardware at supplier's facilities. Perform Root Cause and Corrective Action activities, perform Audits to AS9100 and Specifications, Collect data for metrics and trending, Develop and Execute Quality Improvement Plans, Develop and Execute Supplier Surveillance Plans, Participate in Subcontract review of suppliers, Responsible for Suppliers Quality Score Cards,.
Candidate will be responsibleforquality of hardware at supplier's facility.
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.
Bachelor's degree in aScience, Technology, Engineering orMathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university/college and a minimum of6 Years' Experience in the Aerospace Industry
Demonstrated experience with AS9100
Must have an Active, In-ScopeDOD Secret Security Clearance or higher that has been granted / renewed within the past 5-6 years
Must have the ability to inspect inside andclimb in and out of confined spaces
Must have demonstrated experience inspecting aircraft composites
Special Program Access pre hire.
Experience with ACS-PRS Spec Composite Parts
