Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer. This position will be with our Technology Services sector located in Manhattan Beach. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Forceâ€™s Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground Subsystems Support Contract (GSSC) Minuteman Operational Targeting Program (MOTP). This position may be filled at a higher level based on the qualifications listed below.
The successful candidate will:
Support software development and testing for the Air Force ICBMs
Perform requirements analysis, design, develop, and integration of software programs
Generate test documents and prepare test reports
Verify requirements through modeling and simulation, test data processing, and performance analysis
Support all phases of the software lifecycle
Bachelorâ€™s Degree in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Math, or Physics
2+ years of related work experience with Bachelorâ€™s degree, (5+ years for level 3). Masterâ€™s Degree with 0 years related work experience (3+ years for level 3)
Have experience in flight control, guidance and navigation
Experience programming in C, C++, C#, Matlab and or FORTRAN.
U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or level 3
Possess an active DoD Interim Secret Clearance or above
Work experience in ICBM flight dynamics, targeting, orbital mechanics, reentry dynamics
Working knowledge of 6-Degrees of Freedom Trajectory Simulations
Good interpersonal skills working in a team environment and with customer
