This requisition is for two roles reporting into module assembly and test sub-project manager area.

A&E Actives sub-IPT Lead and IE work package manager.

The A&E Actives sub-IPT manager and IE work package manager will lead a cross-disciplinary engineering & production team responsible for the design, development, production and sustainment of RF electronics modules.

Candidates for both positions must be able to build strong teams, develop talent, drive execution, lead change, and solve complex technical problems.

The Actives sub-IPT lead will report directly to the A&E IPT APM & Deputy, and is responsible for:

  • Directly leading and managing a cross-functional team of 20+ engineers and production staff.

  • Executing the program schedule and technical baselines to complete the design, build, integration and delivery of flight hardware, with a strategic focus on affordability.

  • Contributing to proposals and baseline planning for new business activities.

  • Manage the critical NRE and production activities for a A&E Actives hardware for multiple shipsets.

  • Identifying and realizing opportunities to reduce cost and improve processes

  • Meeting all security, organizational conflict of interest, export control, protection of proprietary information, and risk and opportunity management processes.

The IE work package manager will report to RF IPT, IE program focal, and is responsible for:

  • Directly leading and managing a cross-functional team of deputy SPM, 5+ engineers and production staff.

  • Executing the program schedule to build, integration and delivery of flight hardware, with a strategic focus on affordability.

  • Contributing to proposals and baseline planning for new business activities.

  • Manage the critical NRE and production activities for a IE hardware for multiple shipsets.

  • Identifying and realizing opportunities to reduce cost and improve processes

  • Meeting all security, organizational conflict of interest, export control, protection of proprietary information, and risk and opportunity management processes.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline

  • 6+ years experience with space communication hardware and system management

  • U.S. citizenship is required

  • Must have active and be able to maintain DoD Top Secret ,SSBI, SCI clearance.

  • Experience with CAM (Cost Account Management) reporting tools for overall program management and system delivery

  • Ability to integrate, engage and lead team to perform at top level of performance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated strong people and technical leadership skills; with experience leading a team of >10+ employees

  • Electronics design development and sustaining experience spanning cradle to grave

  • Demonstrated mentoring and coaching skills

  • Experience supporting bid & proposal activities

  • Familiarity with electrical design, electronics manufacturing processes and qualification activities

  • Familiarity with research and development of advanced technologies

Salary Range: $147,800 - $221,800

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
