The qualified candidate will research, design, develop, and test a variety of space-flight and avionics microelectronic assemblies, including: radio frequency and millimeter wave electronics, radar and radiation detection electronics; circuitry components; analog and digital communication electronics; and control and test electronics. Translate and research specifications to design and develop test protocols for product verification/validation.
Typical job responsibilities may include but not limited to:
Design and develop test methodology and protocols for variety of RF/digital assemblies and products
Sustain production testing of RF/digital microelectronic products
Identify and procure test equipment
Document and implement test process
Support RDE in test data analysis and reporting
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Candidate must be comfortable in a lab environment and be able to collaborate closely with cost account managers, assembly technicians, manufacturing engineers, process planners, product engineers, and design engineers.
Candidate must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline from an ABET accredited university
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in a lab environment
Ability to interface and collaborate with various disciplines in the product design/manufacturing/testing process
Ability to obtain program access
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Familiarity with Radio Frequency/Millimeter Wave testing in a production environment
Ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously
Active DoD Secret or SCI clearance
