Northrop Grumman Space Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures. The Propulsion Systems Business Unit focuses on solid rock motors for diverse Government and Commercial customers.
Northrop Grumman's Propulsion System business unit is seeking Contract Administration Manager 3 to lead a Contracts team for Commercial Programs. The Manager is responsible for leading, strategizing, and conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration and customer contact activities to provide and ensure proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer requirements. The selected candidate will also oversee and direct the daily activities of Contracts employees engaged in these activities.
This position will be based at our Bacchus campus in Magna, UT and will offer a hybrid work schedule. It will oversee a small team (2-4) of Contract Administrators and support a program that is local to the Magna and Promontory area. Travel may be required, up to 10%, between the two sites, as needed, per program needs.
Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for highly effective internal and external customer contractual relations for a business segment
Review, negotiate, manage and closeout contracts
Partner with Proposal team to coordinate, price, approve, submit and negotiate proposals
Oversee customer negotiations of contract scope, price, terms, and conditions
Provide advice and counsel to senior leadership on contractual rights and obligations and interpretation of terms and conditions, as well as methods for change, risk assessment and mitigation, and cash management
Manage multiple moderately complex contracts and contract actions simultaneously that may involve significant risk with little consultation with management
Lead and participate in team building with internal functions
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of contracts-related experience - OR - Master's degree and 8+ years of contracts-related experience
An additional 4 years of related experience will be considered in lieu of degree
Leadership experience
US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA
NCMA Certification
Proposal development and pricing experience
FAR/DFAR, CAS and government contracting experience
Aerospace or Defense industry experience
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance

Salary Range: $125,700 - $188,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
