Northrop Grumman Remote Sensing Programs Business Unit, within the Payload & Ground Systems Division, is seeking a proven Principal Proposal Analyst, with experience in the National Security Space sector preferred. The primary responsibility of this position is to lead proposal efforts to deliver compliant, highly scorable deliverables in response to solicitations. The Proposal Manager develops and executes the Proposal Plan while working closely with the Capture Manager and Volume Leads to express the "why us" into the winning proposal. This position is located at Northrop Grumman facilities in Linthicum, MD
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in company policies, and Government regulations.
Coordinates with contributors from cross-functional organizations to ensure quality proposals are submitted within customer deadlines.
Researches and critically analyzes large volumes of data using spreadsheet and data mining skills to isolate and prioritize key data.
Summarizes and presents detailed information in internal management reviews and customer fact-finding meetings.
Highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated with demonstrated abilities to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines.
Team player with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to present concepts and recommendations to all levels within the organization.
Demonstrated ability to think analytically, solve problems and convert complex data to actionable information. Detail oriented, but able to understand the big picture.
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field with 6 years of business, program or estimating experience or 4 years with a Masters. 4 additional years of experience can be substituted for the Bachelors.
Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with the management of other organizations. (Program management, contracts, business management, etc.) as well as with the suppliers on the programs.
Proficiency using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Must have an active Top Secret or SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior work experience in Aerospace & Defense
Experience with FAR/DFARS
Prior work experience with SAP
Master's Degree in related field
Certified Estimating Professional (CEP).
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Active DoD SCI security clearance

Salary Range: $82,400 - $123,600
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
