Northrop Grumman Network Communications 3 in Linthicum, Maryland

Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Network Communications Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Linthicum, MD with travel required up to 25% of the time.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's new classified program providing a Network Operations Center (NOC), a Security Operations Center (SOC), and encrypted network services to multiple customer sites.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain a network with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) capabilities.

Provide regular contact and coordination with the network engineers, system administrators, and security analysts on the program,

Facilitate review sessions to discuss technical performance against the master schedule, and planning regular updates and upgrades to the environment.

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 5 years' experience as a network administrator or telecommunications expert

Experience working with customers in a classified space

Experience operating, maintaining, and updating networking and telecommunications equipment in a data center environment

Experience with Voice over Internet Protocol technologies

Experience with Cisco CallManager technologies

Active TS/SCI clearance
