Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Operations Compliance organization is seeking a Global Supply Chain (GSC) Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead the Organizational Compliance & Audit Readiness (OCAR) Team. This position will be based in Linthicum, MD.
This individual will provide leadership and oversight of processes and resources, ensuring compliance to federal, state, and/or international regulations as they apply to the acquisition of products and services. This position reports to the MS Director of Operations Compliance and has supervisory responsibility for a team of professionals.
Core responsibilities include:
Understanding federal, state and/or international regulatory requirements as they apply to Global Supply Chain processes, practices and procedures.
Implementing Sector GSC procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with the appropriate regulatory requirements as well as Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Procurement Manual (EPM) and Commercial Procurement Manual (CPM).
Developing and implementing programs designed to increase employee awareness and knowledge of compliance policies.
Supporting internal and external audits which evaluate current policies, procedures, and documentation for compliance with government laws and regulations.
Fostering collaborative communication within the Sector GSC organization as well as applicable stakeholders within the Sector, cross-Sector, and Enterprise levels.
Developing, mentoring, and coaching of team members while fostering an engaging and inclusive work environment.
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 9 years' experience in U.S. Government compliance, procurement/subcontracts, or related field (or a Master's and 7 years of experience, or a PhD with 4 years of experience)
2+ years of team lead and/or supervisory experience
Strong understanding and experience with acquisition policies, procedures, and regulations including FAR and DFARs
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP
Demonstrates leadership success and ability to influence direct reports, interact with peers and all levels of management
Highly effective interpersonal skills, commitment to fostering an engaging environment for others and strong communication skills
Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Demonstrated knowledge of Northrop Grumman Supply Chain policies and procedures
