Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Manager ofQuality Engineering based in Linthicum, Maryland . ( This position does not provide relocation assistance.)
The qualified applicant will join the Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Mission Assurance team supporting factory test equipment quality operations. We are looking for a high-caliber individual with a background in Mission/Quality Assurance along withElectrical, Digital, or RF hardware testexperience or Test Engineering test set design experience, or Program/Project Management experience to joinour Mission Assurance organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Establishes strong business relationships with Client leadership teams, and creates effective partnership across all the client leadership teams, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain as well as the Profit and Loss Organizations.
Sets the strategy to meet customer's expectations, regularly communicates program status. Provides situational awareness and effective communication both internally and externally.
Leverages comprehensive metrics, customer and employee feedback to assess program performance and risks, and determines resources to ensure mission success.
Leads the Test Equipment Support Quality Engineers, overseeing test equipment manufacture and certification forprograms and capital projects, to include contractual, equipment and software certification, and process requirements.
Participates in test equipment certification activities including design reviews, certification readiness reviews, test set demonstrations, and equipment certification.
Assesses manpower needs and manageprogram support requirements.
Provides oversight and guidance on Quality Assessment Framework (QAF) and IPRS monthly inputs.
This requisition can be filled at a Level2
Bachelor's degree and 5+ yearsof experience (or 9+ years of experience in lieu of degree)in Mission/Quality Assurance, Electrical Hardware Test, Digital Hardware Test, RF Hardware Test, Test Engineering, Test Set Design, Program/Project Management, or other related experience.
3 years of demonstrated success leading teams or individual contributors and managing work to meet cost andschedule requirements.
Excellent computer skills and Microsoft Office tools expertise.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. US citizenship required.
Master's degree with Industry experience in Quality Assurance.
Experience certifying electrical, digital, or RF test equipment for use and associatedquality activities leading tocertification.
Experience designing orworking on electrical, digital, or RF test equipment.
Six Sigma green belt certification
Current active Secret security clearance
