Northrop Grumman CIO is seeking an iReturn Windows Systems Administrator to support our team in Linthicum, Maryland.

Our iReturn Program is designed to facilitate a return to work opportunity for experienced and motivated professionals who have experienced a career break for a minimum of 2 years in WIndows
Systems Administration. The Northrop Grumman iReturn program provides experienced professionals with internal support, mentors, and connections with other iReturning employees to transition back to a full-time career in one of several fields at Northrop Grumman through training, professional development, and networking opportunities. This "Returnship" program focuses on providing candidates with a career break with a seamless transition back into the workforce.
Responsibilities include:
Perform as Windows Systems Administrator for a large, classified government contract.
Maintain efficient operations of the entire IT infrastructure including desktops and potentially servers.
Support multiple networks while ensuring necessary IT administration tasks are completed under supervision as necessary.
Assist with testing new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user and impact.
Assist with developing and maintaining technical processes and procedures as needed.
Assist with maintaining security audit and logging information on all classified networked and standalone computers as directed by the Cyber Security team.
Report project status as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts.

Basic Qualifications for Level 2:
Career break for a minimum of 2 years is required for iReturn
Associate's degree with 4 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience; a High School diploma or equivalent with 6 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
US CItizenship is required, as well as the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance as a condition of employment within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company; maintaining the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP/SAR) clearance within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company as a condition of continued employment.
Currently valid Security+CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar DoD 8570 security certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire date; certification must be maintained as a condition of continued employment. Northrop Grumman will provide financial assistance to candidates who will need to obtain this required certification after hire.
Experience operating under and managing systems within DoD Collateral, JSIG, or SAP restricted environments.
Experience maintaining Classified Windows Domains in effective operations to include fundamental knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems, Windows desktop support, and/or use of Active Directory (AD) users and computers.
Previous help desk support and/or experience supporting golden image/base line image deployment
Rudimentary knowledge of vulnerability scanning or compliance tools used within secure environments (ACAS, Nessus, STIG, SCAP, etc.).
Experience working in team of IT professionals under direct supervision.

Associate's degree and 11 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience, or Master's degree and 7 years of experience; a High School diploma or equivalent with 13 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
US Citizenship is required as well as the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance as a condition of employment within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company; maintaining the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.

Salary Range: $73,600 - $110,400
Salary Range 2: $90,600 - $136,000
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
