Northrop Grumman Missions Systems sector is seeking a Contract Administrator 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is will be located in Linthicum, Maryland.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the NGMS F-35 Contracts team located in Linthicum, Maryland. The Contracts Administrator/Band 3 role will be responsible for proposal preparation, negotiations and administrative support for the F-35 Sustainment and Development Operating Units. Additional duties include: customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition, contract compliance and execution in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
Basic Qualifications: 6 years of related work experience with a Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related work experience with a Masters or Juris Doctor degree. Applicant must be a self-starter with the ability to handle complex contracts with minimum supervision and have excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills. Applicant must demonstrate the skill and ability to perform complex tasks. Some travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications: Secret level security clearance with working knowledge of the FAR/DFARS as well as experience with different contract types.
