Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Sr. Principal QA Policy Strategy Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Lake Charles, La at our Aircraft Maintenance and Fabrication Center.
In this position, you will:
Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with quality assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures and that the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications and agency guidelines.
Serve as the on-site Team Lead for a diverse team of Mission Assurance Analysts and Engineers providing quality oversight and program support for the Joint STARS Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) program.
Regularly engage with and build/sustain productive collaboration with Northrop Grumman Defense Systems peers and on-site government representatives.
Maintain productive collaboration with and serve as liaison with Northrop Grumman Defense Systems and on-site government representatives.
Serve as a focal point for program quality support and active member of the Subcontract Management Team.
Work directly with operating entities to ensure that inspections, process control analyses or audits are conducted on a continuing basis as specified to enforce requirements and meet specifications.
Ensures the quality assurance programs/policies and statement of work policies/objectives are maintained and modified regularly.
May drive process improvements and administer tools to support continuous improvement.
Assist with root cause corrective action investigations and perform verification of corrective/preventative actions to ensure compliance.
Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 10 years of Quality, Maintenance or Military Aircraft experience or a minimum of 14 years of Quality, Maintenance or Military Aircraft experience of in lieu of bachelor's degree or 8 years of Quality, Maintenance or Military Aircraft experience with a master's degree.
3 years of experience with ISO9100/9000 and/or other related standards
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Government Security Clearance
Ability to effectively interpret, receive, and communicate information across a diverse group of stakeholders
Material Review Board certification
PDM or Depot maintenance experience in a commercial, military, or civilian contractor facility on large, multi-engine aircraft.
