Northrop Grumman is hiring a Manager of Production Planning and Scheduling for our Customs and Border Protection Contract. The primary location of this position will be in Jacksonville, Florida.

Your duties include the following:

Plans, prepares, issues and controls material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet requirements. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that equipment, materials and services are provided as needed. Schedules equipment and services, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the purchase of components or parts based on schedule, shop load and inventory requirements. Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, maintenance, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of formal degree, High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 9 years of relevant experience.

2. Experience with project planning, logistics planning and scheduling

3. Ability to clearly communicate on a professional/executive level

4. Understanding of aircraft O, I, and depot level aircraft maintenance logistics and supply

5. Experience with data tracking/logging systems

6. Ability to obtain/maintain a secret DoD clearance.

7. A current CBP SSBI.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. P-3 Aircraft maintenance logistics and supply management experience.

2. Experience with CBP CARMAC and EMRKS data systems.
