Northrop Grumman is seeking experienced personnel with P-3 aircraft background to support a contingent maintenance program with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in Jacksonville, FL. The CBP P-3 fleet consists of Airborne Early Warning (AEW) and Long Range Tracker (LRT) high-endurance, all-weather, tactical turbo-prop aircraft. The AEW aircraft are utilized primarily for long-range patrols along the entire U.S. border, and in source and transit zone countries. The LRT aircraft are used to intercept, track airborne and surface threats in source and transit zone countries. The P-3 aircraft are equipped with state-of-the-art, highly sophisticated sensor equipment, i.e., radar, electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) detecting systems.

This position will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks andsupport our site managers and employees. This position will assist in daily office needs and managing our company's general administrative activities. This position will usemulti-tasking and communication skills to assist management and visitors to the company by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, making reservations or travel arrangements, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.

Work Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.

  • Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.

  • Complete duties accurately, deliver with high quality, and in a timely manner.

  • Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.

  • Organize travel arrangements for senior managers.

  • Write letters and emails on behalf of other office staff.

  • Book conference calls, rooms, transportation, couriers, hotels, etc.

  • Maintain computer and manual filing systems.

  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

  • Take accurate minutes of meetings.

Basic Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent and 7 years of direct relevant experience.

2. Proficiency with MS Office applications.

3.A currentDoDSecret Security clearance.

4. Ability to pass/maintain a Department of Homeland Security Background Investigation.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Familiarity with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Programs (NAMP) or equivalent.

2. Associate's Degree in a related field.
