This role may be filled at a Principal Quality Analyst or Sr. Principal Quality Analyst Mission Assurance depending on the qualifications below. The primary responsibility will be to directly support the Strike MAM3 ensuring all leadership briefings are updated (daily/weekly/monthly) and ensure MAM3 or DOA is prepared to brief Senior Executives and our customer as required. Responsibilities include the following:
Lead data collection, analysis, and customer interface
Establish and maintain collaboration partnership across functions and programs, customers, program management, and other support organizations
Maintain, update and produce all Strike Mission Assurance metrics to drive operational excellence
Develop briefings to support all Cost Center IPTs that highlight Defects per 1K hours worked, Rework/Repair and MRB processing metrics
Collect and upload monthly PCAB for local, Enterprise and Clearfield/Iuka briefings
Work with Data Scientist to improve metrics and data sources, to improve metric accuracy, create new metrics needed to improve operational performance and opportunities to improve
Track and update departmental OKR metrics daily, weekly and monthly
Assist collecting data to support department budget/charging variances
Support internal audits, process observations and area assessments
Write and manage risk mitigation actions and assuring their implementation.
Contribute to design change control reviews and implementation
Coordinate non-conformance containment and corrective action implementation activities
Lead and participate in Root Cause Corrective Action events
Authoring documentation to instruct operations on successful execution of quality requirements

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Principal Quality Analyst:
Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of Quality Engineering and or Mission Assurance related work experience; OR a Master’s Degree and 3+ years of work experience
Must have extensive working experience using Microsoft Office, and above average PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Need experience working with metrics, and understand the purpose of metrics
Experience with internal audits, Inspection Plans and First Article Inspections
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access
Sr. Principal Quality Analyst:
Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of Quality Engineering and or Mission Assurance related work experience; a Master’s Degree and 6+ Quality Engineering and or Mission Assurance related work experience; OR a PhD and 4+ years of Quality Engineering and or Mission Assurance related work experience
Must have excellent working experience using Microsoft Office, and PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Understand and working knowledge of metrics, can explain and understand the how metrics can help the Mission Assurance business
Experience with internal audits, Inspection Plans and First Article Inspections
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior manufacturing experience
Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
Experience working in databases to export raw data
Working knowledge of exporting metrics, and developing PowerPoint to capture data for leadership
Participated and led Root Cause and Corrective Action methods/events
Knowledge of continuous improvement principles
Background in Composites
Performed internal audits, process observations and area assessments
Write and manage risk mitigation actions and assuring their implementation.
Coordinated non-conformance containment, corrective action and implementation activities

1 opening on Day shift
Must be willing to work any shift if needed
Work schedules can vary, with the following shift options:
9/80 - 6:30 pm – 5:00 pm
Salary Range: $72,600 - $108,800
Salary Range 2: $89,900 - $134,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
