Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Facilities Engineering 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Facilities and Maintenance organization. This leadership role is located in Iuka, Mississippi.
As the Manager Facilities Engineering 3 for the Iuka location, you will oversee the facilities and maintenance operations. This includes planning, risk management, and project performance. Additional duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Drive team performance based on data analytics including Uptime, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure, and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair)
Lean principles, 5S, and visual factory ideology are key to a successful candidate
Uniformity and standard practices across all sites to create group continuity
Provide guidance to subordinates based on organizational goals and company policy
Work is reviewed in terms of meeting the organizations objectives and schedules
Advanced level of understanding in a specialized field or general understanding of several diverse disciplines
Involves a broad grasp of involved practices and procedures Decision Making Regularly requires analysis of alternative courses of action
Decisions have risk/reward implications for program or area of influence
Responsible for all projects assigned to the organizational group
Advisor to lower-level managers and exempt employees
Help meet established schedules or resolve technical or operational problems
Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to organizational policies
Establishes operating policies and procedures that affect subordinate organizational units
Develop and administer budgets and standards of performance
Subject to approval, modifies the organizational structure of centralized functions and units
Acts as an advisor to subordinate supervisors or staff members to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems
Directly participates in establishing and administering many centralized functional projects
Liaison Frequent contact with equivalent level managers and customer representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, or contractual clarifications.
Conduct briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of related experience; OR a Master's degree and 5 years of related experience; OR 11 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Previous experience managing maintenance trades and/or vendor contracts
Leadership experience working in collaboration across multiple organizations, contracts, and/or customer relationships
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance last investigated within 6 years
Experience in all areas of Facilities Maintenance operations
Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership
Ability to develop and present material outside the immediate work function
Proven positive impact on employee engagement activities across program and functional organizations
Proven financial, schedule, subcontract management, technical performance, and execution experience
Experience supporting multiple different review teams
Familiar with a variety of aerospace and/or similar industry production equipment and manufacturing facilities infrastructure
Experience with CAD/3D design and/or ability to read and interpret blueprints

Salary Range: $134,400 - $201,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
