Northrop Grumman Test Engineering Manager 2 in Huntsville, Alabama

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) sector is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Manager 2 for the Engineering, Sciences & Technology (ES&T) Central Region, Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) discipline. In the Mission Systems' sector, you'll join our experts in developing systems and solutions that keep our world safe. The qualified applicant will work in our Huntsville, Alabama office, headquarters for the Missile Defense and Protective Systems (MDPS) division. This position requires the person to be a functional manager 20% and a technical contributor on a program 80%.

HUNTSALMSTR

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline

  • 8 years of technical experience in Systems Engineering Integration and Test experience

  • Prior experience leading team of employees

  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with technical teams and upper management.

  • Proven collaboration in a team environment.

  • Demonstrated experience developing diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement, including mentoring and coaching.

  • Demonstrated a broad skill set that is balanced between interpersonal, business, and technical capabilities.

  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on CMMI Level 3+ programs.

  • Experience with Missile Defense Programs.

  • Proven communications skills with armed services and government customers.

  • Experience leading and/or working within a functional matrix organization.

  • Experience leading team of employees through a transformation of culture.

  • Proven experience working in an Agile environment.
