Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems/Network Linux Analysts for our IBCS program. The Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS) connects sensors and effectors never designed to work together into one command and control system so warfighters can see and act on data across the entire battlefield more swiftly. IBCS open, modular, scalable architecture is foundational to deploying a truly integrated network of all available assets in the battlespace, regardless of source, service or domain. As a Systems/Network Linux Analysts you will would work in our state of the art facility. You will provide maintenance , and modernization of our Tactical networks
Job Duties:
Assist with Integrating IP based Tactical Networks [ primarily consisting of RHEL Systems and Cisco devices]
Work within and across teams to support and coordinate daily integration activities
Assist with Root cause analysis = troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues
Supporting configuration and troubleshooting
Work to improve performance System and Network performance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years' experience or a Master's degree or High School diploma or equivalent with 6 years' experience may be acceptable in lieu of a degree.
1 years' experience with Cisco networks and/or RHEL Systems
4 years experience working either Systems or Network or a combination of both to total 4 years.
Linux / RHEL experience
Security certification (e.g. Security+ CE or CISSP)
Ability to work onsite in Huntsville Alabama
Active Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Linux Administration Experience (RHEL)
Understanding of routing and switching experience debugging network-oriented applications
Experience integrating COTS, GOTS and custom software in a security constrained environment
Any of the following military experience: Army MOS 25 series Navy Nec 2790 , 2735, 2780, Marines MOS 0689 Air Force 3D1x Computer Systems Technicians, Client Systems specialists Or other similar experience
Salary Range: $70,000 - $105,000
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
