Northrop Grumman Staff Process Improvement Analyst in Huntsville, Alabama
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking aStaff Program Process ImprovementAnalyst to support the WISLA IBCS Program. This position is responsible for providing overall leadership in defining, designing and implementing the process effectiveness program for the Poland WISLA IBCS program.
The position requires a strong knowledge of quality management systems, quality engineering techniques, and Mission Assurance planning and protocol. The mission assurance planning and protocol includes the analysis of risk mitigation, leading for continuous improvement, and design, and analysis of process effectiveness. Familiarity with the Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) command media approach to implementation of quality management systems is a strong plus. The position will be located in Huntsville, Alabama.
Specific responsibilities include:
Manage program processes and procedures to ensure consistent, quality products are delivered to internal and external customers.
Develop advance concepts, techniques and stanards in supporting Continuous Improvement activities including basic process improvements and Six Sigma projects, where appropriate.
Develop of Corrective and Preventive Action System status and inputs.
Ensure Process Assets are CMMI L3 and AS9100 compliant
Managing the Six Sigma program.
Prepare for CMMI Appraisals.
Lead AGILE process Transition.
Participation in Division and Sector process effectiveness initiatives as required.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or Information Technology (or related field) and a minimum of 15 years' experience with quality management or process effectiveness in program environments, or, Master's Degree + 13 years' of experience. Bachelor's degree is preferred;19 years of process-related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Candidate must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance
Experience with Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and AS9100 desired
Six Sigma certification or experience in other Process Improvement Methodology desired
Active Secret clearance
