Northrop Grumman Space Sector is looking for a Sr Staff Software Engineer to join our team located in Huntsville, AL

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

- 14 years with Bachelo r of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline; 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD

  • Active Secret (or above) Security Clearance

  • Experience developing software in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, or Ada

  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical teams

  • Lead teams and interface regularly with program and executive leadership to review status and plans

  • Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results

  • Experience analyzing complex problems and developing solutions

  • Have a superior understanding of Agile software development principles and lessons learned

  • Have a strong understanding of Scaled Agile Framework - SAFe for Lean Enterprises

  • Have a strong understanding of DevOps and DevSec*Ops principles

Preferred Qualifications

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Agile software development practices, methodologies and techniques, continuous integration

  • Have experience working on Agile teams in a leadership position across multiple teams

  • Ability perform lean-agile assessments on programs and develop plans to increase effectiveness
