Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking an IBCS Material Fielding Lead to join our growing team of diverse professionals in Huntsville, Alabama . The selected candidate will lead New Equipment Feilding activities for the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS) Major End Items (MEIs).

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute all Materiel Fielding missions efficiently and in compliance with all regulatory guidance

  • Lead an integrated team of personnel including trainers, supply support personnel, field service representatives, and mission operation representatives during Fielding execution

  • Provide onsite supervision for all fielding actions w/ USG and end-user

  • Provide planning data and reports for specific tasks to be performed

  • Candidate is able to lift, carry, move, equipment items up to 31 lbs in accordance with military standards for one-person tasks

  • Candidate may be required to perform tasks and duties in an austere environment with varying and potentially extreme environmental conditions

  • Other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • One of the following:

  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of logistics experience

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of logistics experience

  • Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years of logistics experience

  • Ability to work on-site in Huntsville, Alabama

  • Must possess ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  • Willing to travel up to 50%

  • Candidate must meet and maintain Department of Defense contractor deployment requirements in accordance with DODI 3020.41 Operational Contract Support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience conducting, scheduling, or leading fielding operations

  • Ability to manage customer expectations and work with government counterpart to achieve mission success

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate vertically as well as horizontally within the IBCS Organization and the U.S. Government Customer Organization

  • Ability to create briefing packages, reports, and other forms of written communication and clearly articulate the information to management

  • Familiarity and proven experience with all supply documents (DA3161, DA2062, and DD1149)

  • Demonstrated outgoing, positive personality, solid work ethic, commitment to individual and team success, with a strong work-life balance approach is paramount to this position

Salary Range: $88,500 - $132,700

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
