Northrop Grumman is seeking Senior Principal Configuration Analyst – 13084. This position will be located in Roy, Utah or Huntsville, AL and will support the Sentinel program.

This role will report to operating Segment Configuration Management / Data Management, and Program Change Engineering Lead and will work directly with Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM-PCE) Leadership in a wide array of tasks associated with both configuration and data management disciplines.

These tasks include (but are not limited to):

• Support CM and DM Governance and Planning activities.

• Support the development and maintenance of Configuration Management and Data Management tools.

• Administer change processes and ensuring changes are documented in accordance with program requirements.

• Control technical baselines and coordinate the development and maintenance of the systems, tools, and environments they are stored in.

• Generate reports that provide the status of Configured items, and the maturity of technical baselines.

• Administer Data management Sub-Contractor data ingest and USG contract transmittal activities.

• Administer Configuration audit activities for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Be responsible for ensuring program data has been approved, distributed, and managed appropriately in accordance with company, sector, and program approved processes.

• Administer Data Management principles on CDRL and SDRL information within SharePoint, Teamcenter, and other tooling to ensure data integrity through audit processes.

• Work with the US Air Force and Subcontractor personnel, to support submittals and delivery activities.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Job Qualifications:

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst: 09 Years with Bachelors degree; 07 Years with Masters; 04 Years with PhD; or 04 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

  • US Citizenship with Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 06 years.

  • Significant understanding of software development lifecycles.

  • Experience administering configuration management using software development, PLM, ontological model, and requirements management tools.

  • Significant knowledge of configuration management and data management industry standards, requirements, and implementation.

  • Familiarity with DoD program lifecycles. Including planning and navigation of major milestones/events, development of technical baselines, and configuration audits.

  • Ability to provide task planning and direction, and produce and administer trainings.

  • Ability to provide presentations and communicate ideas to your team, the US Government, and program personnel.

  • Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with your team, and program personnel.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Current Active Top-Secret Clearance.

  • Experience administering configuration and data management using GIT Lab, Nexus, Siemens Teamcenter, Jira, SharePoint, Cameo, DOORS.

  • Experience with design, process automation, and access control in SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.

  • Experience with ICBM Weapon Systems.

  • Expert knowledge of EIA-649-1, MIL-HDBK-61, or GEIA-859.

  • Experience developing and maintaining program plans and process documents.

Salary Range: $104,400 - $173,200

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
