Northrop Grumman Principal Industrial Security Analyst in Huntsville, Alabama

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst to join our International Battle Management Organizational Unit. This position will be located in Huntsville, AL and serve as the security focal point for our international contracts. The individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities include:

Develop and administer DoD personnel security program and procedures for DoD classified contracts. Research and implement federal security regulations, maintaining knowledge, and awareness of interdisciplinary compliance requirements. Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepare instructions outlining regulations, and establish procedures for handling, storing, retaining records, and access by personnel or visitors to restricted records.Conduct security education training and security audits.Team to investigate security violations and reports.Manage and pull reports for required training and briefings and communicate reports to program management.Manage the program OPSEC program.


Basic Qualifications:

6 Years experience in Security or related experience with Bachelors; or 4 Year with Masters; 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree accepted.

Current activeSecret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with program management, government and security team members.

Ability to support numerous activities simultaneously and provide innovative solutions to program and security management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong International Security background.

Understanding of Foreign Military Sales (FMS).

In-depth knowledge of the NISPOM, Export process, RMF process, OPSEC, and related security functions to support a broad range of customers in DoD.

Experience in designing and conducting security education and training programs.

Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
