Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for an Industrial Security Manager 1 to support our Huntsville, AL facilities.
This is an opportunity to apply provien security leadership skills in a dynamic and challenging environment. The successful candidate will be the lead security manager for the Northrop Grumman Missile Defense Systems Business Unit, supporting the local Next Generation Interceptor program, and manage a small security team on the Northrop Grumman Huntsville Campus.
This position will ensure security compliance with the government regulations and company policies, coordinates with the various Nothrop Grumman campus security teams, and strives for excellence in the executing of program secruity objectives and milestones. The security manager primarily oversees security aspects for the Huntsville program team. The security manager will need to interface with the program management teams. The selected candidate is responsible for staffing and working with program stateholders to ensure secruity classification guidelinse are being met and implemented.
Active Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain & maintain a Top Secret clearance.
6 Years of security experience with Bachelors; or 4 Years of security experience with Masters; 4 additional years experience accepted in lieu of degree
Must have an in-depth knowledge and skills with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
Previous security management experience.
Past experience in managing Industrial Security programs.
Ability to effectively engage with team members on task completion.
Ability to recognize opportunities and take independent action at resolving challenges.
Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, security peers and program management team members.
Ability to effectively write CONOPS, SOPs, incident reports and communicate information in an effective and timely manner with customers, team members and fellow employees.
Familiarity with SCI and SAP programs a significant plus
