Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a System Modeling Simul Engineer - Tester/ Cameo Modeler. This position will be located in Huntsville, AL and will be part of the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program (Minuteman III ICBM replacement) development contract. Candidate will be able to perform the following essential functions:
Develop modeling and simulation tools to assist with analysis of complex, technical problems relating to a wide variety of spacecraft and systems
Develop algorithms to perform analysis and produce much-needed data products
Maintain and improve large scale simulations to support multiple missions
Integrate existing models from mission partners into simulations
Model dynamic agent behaviors
Evaluate complex results and determine engineering recommendations based on analysis
Quickly translate user needs into effective software solutions
Develop documents and briefings to communicate work or study status, brief government and industry as required.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science from an accredited university with 9 years of related experience with a Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with a Masters; 4 Years with a PhD
Experience with modeling, simulation, and mission analysis techniques and tools
Experience scripting for analysis purposes
Demonstrated experience working with Air Force/DoD customers in an acquisition environment, with space and/or ground systems
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience working in an Agile team/framework
Experience with MATLAB, STK, AFSIM, Simulink, Model Center, or other comparable modeling and simulation tools
Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience using Cameo Enterprise Architect, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or other comparable tools
Space Control Mission Area experience is highly desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organization and interpersonal skills.
