Northrop Grumman Office of the Chief Information Office (CIO) is seeking a Director of Information Technology – Engineering, Operations and Digital Technologies that will lead all CIO related activities in support of the Defense Systems Sector.
This Director of Information Technology – Engineering, Operations and Digital Technologies is the DS leader and also the interface to the Enterprise/DS Digital Transformation Office, Enterprise Engineering Tools organization, and manages the DS Site Manufacturing/Operations CIO support team.
This position will report to the Sector Vice President and CIO for Defense Systems.
The position will be located at either McLean VA, Linthicum MD, or Roy UT and will not allow for telecommuting.
Responsibilities include:
Consultation, guidance and support for the deployment and sustainment of Digital Transformation Solutions related to the Defense Systems sector.
Partnership and collaboration with the DS Digital Transformation Director ensuring IT support for the deployment and sustainment of digital solution within DS Sector.
Develop and execute budgets while aligning to Digital Transformation financial targets.
Standardize delivery of engineering & manufacturing design tools and common support to impact productivity & capabilities while improving predictability & reducing cost
Lead DS PMO Engineering Tools organization.
Oversee budget and resources within the DS PMO and Engineering Tools Pools.
Responsible for accurate monthly forecast and budget reviews. Coordinate demand and utilization with Division ESPD/MS/DS leads and program/site requirements.
Help guide the Enterprise Engineering Tools Technology Review Board (TRB) Governance and Rationalization.
Co-Chair of DS Engineering TRB.
Oversight of all sector engineering tools.
Responsible for operational support team serving plant and production systems, application and services that are not covered by NG Service Lines or Atos.
Lead DS PMO Operations Support organization
Support the deployment and upgrades of site systems, such as Production Data Acquisition and Testing Systems, MES System and Application Administration, Plant Scheduling Systems and others
Support and drive IT compliance to achieve successful site IT audits. Ensure proper procedures and controls are in place to ensure IT compliance. Support IT compliance audits, out briefs and corrective action are executed and closed.
Support Converged Networks activities to migrate off net environments to managed environments for both unclassified and classified (NGUSN, EDN, TRIAD, PCN, ICON, ect)

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science STEM Degree required and at least 10 years of related experience to include responsibilities as a functional manager or program manager
Proven IT project management and Site Operations experience with demonstrated leadership skills, including planning, scheduling, workload forecasting and proposal development
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment
Experience building and leading high-performance teams
U.S. Citizen with Active Secret Clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret and Special Access clearances will be required
Preferred Qualifications:
Working familiarity with ISA95, CMMI, ISO 9001, AS910, and CMMC.
Master's Degree in a relevant technical or management specialty with 5 or more years of relevant Management experience
Salary Range: $170,600 - $256,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
