Northrop Grumman Technology Services is looking for an experienced Software engineer based in Ogden, UT or Hill AFB, UT. This Software Engineer will support the development of processes, tools, and documentation of the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent ICBM program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Designing and developing software to be utilized in cryptographic and cybersecurity applications
Provide estimates and metrics for future software development activities
Document design decisions to support future program milestones
Perform hardware integration and testing, and requirements analysis
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM degree
Minimum14 years of related software engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree; 12 years with a Master's degree; 9 years with a PhD
Demonstrated experience in application software design in multiple operating system environments (Windows, Linux) and real-time operating systems (Windows CE, VxWorks, Integrity)
Demonstrated experience in dedicated embedded software design
Demonstrated experience in multiple software languages (C, C++, C-shell, K-shell, Perl/Tk, Tcl/Tk, Python, or Matlab.)
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
Experience designing software for defense certifications
Familiarity with FIPS Publication 140-2 standards for cryptographic modules
Familiarity with NIST Risk Management Framework and FIPS Publication 200
Understanding of implementing modern cryptographic protocols in system solutions
