Northrop Grumman Technology Services Sector and Engineering, Systems, and Integration (ESI) business unit is a seeking a creative, skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team. This position is located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
This position offers an opportunity for the right candidate to develop companywide business applications under the Agile Framework using modern tools and architectures. The successful candidate must be able to design and develop web based applications; have experience with Microsoft .Net Framework; design and implement SQL databases; follow coding standards; testing, troubleshooting and resolving code issues; and working as part of a larger team.
The successful candidate will need good interpersonal communication skills along with the ability to work in an agile team environment. Candidate must also be a self-starter with the ability to take on complex and challenging tasks with minimal direction and remain current on emerging technologies trends and insights.
As a Professional Development Program (PDP) candidate, you will participate in a three year rotational training program to develop competencies in a variety of specializations. Youâ€™ll participate in assignments that will leverage your degree and academic experience.
The PDP rotations offer the opportunity to experience a variety of job assignments before making a commitment to a particular position. The assignments will provide valuable experiences that will broaden the participantâ€™s knowledge of the business and help guide each individual in obtaining his/her career goals. The program will support the individualâ€™s growth through training, skill development, and networking opportunities. This program gives its participants the ability to choose their assignments from a variety of departments based on their skills, areas of interest, and availability.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
3.25 overall GPA or higher
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance.
Familiarity with Microsoft .Net Framework in Visual Studio environment using C#, and ASP.Net.
SQL and database design.
Experience developing and troubleshooting applications.
Technical certifications that support Software Development
Previous software development experience Web API, Angular JS, React
MS-SQL Server Database design and analysis, experience with Entity Framework
Experience with automated testing
Versioning Control software (i.e. GIT, TFS)
Experience with gathering customer requirementspreparing system data andmodeling.
