Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Human Resources Assistant 3 to join our growing team in Herndon, Virginia . This role is primarily responsible for administrative tasks related to scheduling interviews and generating offer letters.

Responsibilities includebut are not limited to:

  • Coordinates interviewer and candidate availability, initiates calendar invites for the interviewers, and sends confirmation emails with details to the candidate(s)

  • Coordinates travel as necessary, initiates expense reimbursement

  • Reviews applications for completeness, generates offer letters, sends offer acceptance notifications to the recruiter, and initiates pre-employment steps including the background check and drug test

  • Solves problems by utilizing training, knowledge, tools, and analytical skills

  • Works in a high pressure environment with minimal supervision

  • Utilizes organizational systems and Microsoft Office suite to maintain accurate and complete documentation

  • Maintains confidentiality of information

  • Performs job duties while maintaining a high level of customer service

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have one of the following:

  • High school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of administrative work experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must be able to work on-site in Herndon, Virginia

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Applicant tracking system experience; Taleo preferred

  • Experience working with PeopleSoft
