Exercise support staff for Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) exercises to train Brigade, Division and Corps Commanders and their staffs. Operations Group X-RAY Counter IED Operations Integration Center and Targeting Programs SDD Writer: assists with training Brigade, Division and Corps Commanders and their staffs during Mission Rehearsal, and Warfighter exercises (MRX/WFX) with subject matter expertise integrating Counter IED (C-IED) tasks of collection, analysis and dissemination into MRXs/WFXs to ensure that military commanders and other senior leaders who may deploy have the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage Counter IED planning and execution. Attack the Network and Defeat the Device storylines developed for the exercise in line with the Hybrid Thread Network storylines which are in line with Scenario Design, participate in all planning conferences and Intel scripting working groups representing the Attack the Network /Hybrid threats. Supports exercises with 24 hour support that includes storyline injects and the capability to adjust MSELs ensuring proper realistic injects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Must have an understanding of the overall scenario and unit's training objectives, with a good understanding of Army Doctrine and real world situation awareness in the hybrid threat.

  2. SME on COIC tools, systems, analytical enterprise, and experienced in targeting operations as WTI. Provide COIC/CITP scenario products and subject matter expertise in the areas of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) and IED networks to assist in the replication of comprehensive targeting of insurgent, criminal and terrorist IED networks and facilitation of operations.

  3. Coordinates and produces specialty data, Fusion Analysis Development Effort products, IMINT and special programs into products and provides all-source fusion analysis and insurgent, criminal, and terrorist network development in the IED network realm in support of requirements.

  4. Knowledge and experience as a trained or deployed WTI Analyst utilizing the WTI IED lexicon and Universal Profile in creating device profiles.

  5. Depicts insurgent, criminal, and terrorist IED networks and IED TTPs in designated areas in support of OE and Scenario Design.

  6. Serves as lead or supporting analyst for producing, coordinating, tracking, and disseminating any and all responses to C-IED RFI's and RFS's.

  7. Coordinate with other enablers to ensure lower echelon specialized C-IED enabler MSEL injects (Biometrics, CELLEX, DOCEX, MEDEX, SIGINT, HUMINT, and CEXC) are properly written to support training objectives and realistic exercise background noise.

Basic Qualifications: a. Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with 6 years' of relevant experience, 4 additional years of relevant experience may be used in lieu of a degree.

b. Ten years U.S. military service, Senior Non-Commissioned, Chief Warrant Officer or Commissioned Officer; and be a former 18F, 96B/35F, or 35 series, 89D, or service equivalent specialty required (10+ years Intel or WTI experience preferred). Experience as a NGIC, COIC, CITP or ORSA analyst. Knowledge and experience with HUMINT intelligence products.

c. Familiar with current Army/Joint doctrine.

d. Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access)

Security: Must have, a DoD Secret and be able to obtain a DoD TS/SCI

Preferred Qualifications:

a. Recent experience in OIF, OEF, or OND.

b. EOC, C-IED, WTI and TF Paladin preferred

c. Battalion/Brigade or higher staff officer experience.

d. US. Army Command and General Staff Officer Course, or MEL 4 equivalent Intermediate Level Education (ILE)

Security: a DoD Top Secret clearance based on SSBI for TS/SCI.
