Northrop Grumman Cyber Combatant Command (CCMD) Support Planner in Fort Belvoir, Virginia

Position Description:

Staff action officer with DOTMLPF expertise. Provides feedback for doctrine development and requirements analysis to organic and Army capability developers.

Background with supported CCMD on internal processes and organizational culture, direct interface to COIPE and other CCMD planning staff.

Supports other CCMD planning efforts as required.

Leads operational planning teams in the development of concepts and plans supporting ASCC and COCOM requirements.

Supports the Global Force Management (GFM) Process, Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP), and MDMP to include, but not limited to, IO, EW, and Cyberspace Operations.

Performs staff action officer duties as required.


Basic Qualifications:

Requires a degree in Information Technology (IT) or other related technical field.

  • Bachelor's + 5 years of experience.

  • Master's + 3 years of experience.

Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.

Must possess current DOD 8570 CSSP Analyst certification.

Must possess a working knowledge of Cyber Operations Policy, Doctrine, Tactics, Techniques and Procedures.

Must be familiar with DOD or Service Cyber Operations policy and processes, the Joint Operations Planning Process and security policy and execution.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced planning graduate school preferred (SAMS, SAAS, SAW, or JAWS).

Minimum 1 years experience in DOD level staffs, Agencies or similar operational headquarters (e.g. OSD, Joint Staff, Service Staffs, Defense Agencies, Intelligence Agencies, COCOMs, Service Component Commands, JTF, Joint Force Component Commands).

Experience supporting compartmented or Special Activities such as Special Technical Operations (STO) Planning, Tailored Technical Operations, Special Access Programs (SAP) or service in a position with similar responsibilities.

Prefer Joint Cyber Operations Planners Course (JCOPC) and/or Joint Advanced Cyber Warfare Course(JACWC).

Prior Army customer experience.

Military Education Level (MEL) 4 required.

Active TS/SCI.

Current U.S. Passport.
