Northrop Grumman Corporation is currently seeking an Early Career Diversity Specialist to become a member of our corporate talent acquisition team. Reporting to the Strategic University Partnership Manager, this position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and/or maintaining recruiting programs. Assists management with early career strategy for the identification, recruitment and hiring of early career prospects.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Participates and collaborates with the talent acquisition diversity team to develop engagement and event strategy to attract talent to meet the needs of the businesses; typically 10 to 15 events per year

  • Serves as early career lead for various events except (those lead by other team members) includes engaging with external partners to support the execution of overall talent acquisition strategy

  • Co-leads weekly planning meeting with internal peers and leadership to review event details, logistics and demand plan

  • Participates in engagement with students and student groups at HBCUs and other diversity schools as assigned

  • Develops, maintains, and tracks status of diverse students from early career pipeline; creates a standardized dashboard

  • Executes and develops new early career sourcing strategies by staying abreast of best practices

  • Other responsibilities/duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years' of relevant experience required or 8 years' with a master's degree

  • Demonstrated project management, analytical, planning, and presentation skills

  • Ability to change physical locations based upon need, including physical ability to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in early career recruiting (diversity preferred)

  • Experience engaging with external partners (diversity preferred)

  • Program Management, Talent Acquisition or University Relations Management experience
