Northrop Grumman Photographer and Videographer - Executive Communications in Falls Church, Virginia

Northrop Grumman Corporate Communications is seeking a Multimedia Photographer and Videographer to tell the story of our C-Suite and other executives. The multimedia producer must possess photography, videography and graphic design skills to effectively capture, edit, and communicate key messages from the Northrop Grumman leadership in multimedia formats. Reporting to the Acting Corporate Vice President of Communications, the Multimedia producer will join a strong corporate communications team focused on delivering results for the enterprise. This position is located in Falls Church, VA.

You enjoy exploring new and creative ways to tell compelling stories to increase engagement and recall among key audiences.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Conceptualize, produce, shoot, and edit videos featuring Northrop Grumman executive leadership as well as projects for other departments and company sectors when possible for internal and external communications
Lead photographer for Northrop Grumman corporate events and company-wide initiatives
Execute formal and editorial portraits of executives
Coordinate all aspects of video productions to include location scouting, shot selection, script writing, video recording, music selection and sound effects, computer graphics, animation, digital effects, final editing, and distribution
Set up and connect appropriate camera, lighting, and audio equipment for events
Stay current on tools and techniques of video production and photography
Ability to interface with all levels of management
Strong communication and storytelling skills
Ability to capture events, speeches and other corporate activities to ensure multimedia uses and distribution
Comfortable working independently and against deadlines
Positively contribute to group brainstorming sessions and idea exchanges
Work directly with executives to provide outstanding support and wide counsel
Inspire and lead by example
Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of demonstrated experience working with executives and the C-Suite or 14 years of demonstrated experience working with executives and the C-Suite in lieu of degree.
Expert in single and multi-camera location and studio video productions.
High level of expertise in the operation of professional video and still cameras.
Expert in lighting equipment and techniques using continuous and strobe lighting.
Familiarity with basic film direction techniques.
Experienced in both Windows and Apple environments with advanced-to-expert-level fluency in Adobe Master Collection (Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.), Apple Final Cut Pro X, and MS Office/Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Self-starter who tackles day-to-day challenges without supervision.
Be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Able to travel 25% of the time.
Bachelor's degree in media production, videography, photography, graphic design, or related field.
DoD security clearance.
