Northrop Grumman's corporate Government Compliance team is seeking a manager of government compliance to lead a team of professionals responsible for ensuring compliance of FAR, DFARS and Cost Accounting Practices. This position will report to the Director of Government Compliance & Incurred Cost. Candidates should possess a deep understanding of FAR/CAS compliance and possess the instincts, drive and judgement to interface with senior leaders across the company and audit community.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Monitor changes to FAR/DFAR/CAS & Other pertinent regulations

  • Draft compliance guidance to be used to educate and train as necessary

  • Review and compile Business Systems self-assessments for management review

  • Perform Business Systems Oversight across Corporate & Sectors to ensure compliance & audit readiness

  • Review of Cost Accounting Practice changes to ensure compliance

  • Prepare Cost Impact Analysis as required to support Cost Accounting Practice changes

  • Perform periodic reviews of Disclosure Statements to ensure adequacy and compliance

  • Support DCAA audits of Disclosure Statements, Cost Impacts, Business Systems & Other compliance Areas

  • Write White Papers in areas of FAR/DFARS/CAS where questions are being asked that require research and

recommendations to management for action

  • Provide training in the areas of FAR/DFARS/CAS/Business Systems

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10+ years of directly applicable experience

  • Understanding of U.S. Government regulations, including Cost Accounting Standards, FAR and Agency FAR supplements

  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies & procedures that address compliance/charging guidance regarding labor, material, travel and other direct cost (ODC) expenses

  • Strong Microsoft aptitude (Excel and Powerpoint)

  • US Citizenship is required as well as the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Clearance upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management

  • CPA

  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills to successfully work across functions and programs at various levels and disciplines

  • Experience interfacing with DCMA and DCAA

  • Experience with SAP CO/PS and BW

  • Active or Current DoD Clearance (Secret level and above)

Salary Range: $132,300 - $198,500

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
