Northrop Grumman Manager Information Technology / Cyber in Falls Church, Virginia
Northrop Grumman Internal Audit is looking for a Manager Information Technology / Cyber 2. This position reports to the Operations Director of Internal Audit and is responsible for leading a team of technology auditors conducting information technology audits, including but not limited to assessments of network security, information assurance, identity and access security, electronic data traffic, database and application services, enterprise resource planning, infrastructure services, and cloud and mobility services.
This position will interface with key process owners and senior business leaders across all Northrop Grumman Sectors as we help provide Senior Management and the Audit & Risk Committee of the Board of Directors assurance that we understand and are performing a proper risk assessment of Information Technology and Cyber functions and threats while identifying opportunities for improvement and best practices that can be shared throughout the corporation.
Additionally, the individual selected for this position will provide mentoring and support for staff in multiple locations as they execute the key assurance role of internal audit while supporting their career goals.
Responsibilities of the successful candidate include:
Develop the Information Technology/Cyber risk assessment methodology and audit plan to focus on key risk areas for the corporation. Maintain awareness of all Northrop Grumman Cyber leading indicators to identify trends that require inclusion on the audit plan
Plan and coordinate all information technology audits using a risk-based audit selection and prioritization approach
Provide value added input to management by enhancing the information technology and cyber audit practices with focus on identification of risk and best practices
Work closely with the sectors and Information Technology Solutions to identify Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in technology that can be deployed on audit teams
Review audit work papers for quality, relevance, and completeness
Work closely with the sectors to identify Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that can be deployed on program review audit teams.
Provide leadership and drive professional development for the technology auditors
Strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to interact with and present to executive level management
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and sustain a highly engaged team
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information technology, Cyber or related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or Master's in the same disciplines with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Previous Audit experience
Active Secret security clearance
A proven solid and deep understanding of various information technology and cyber processes and experience in applying them to perform and report on the evaluation of these areas and functions
Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
Master's degree in relevant technical field
Previous Audit experience
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Audit and IT/Cyber related certifications - Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Systems Security Certified Professional (SSCP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
