Northrop Grumman HR Business Partner in Falls Church, Virginia

The Enterprise Services & Corporate Office Human Resource Team has a dynamic opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner in our Falls Church, VA office. Responsibilities include working closely with the executive-leadership team to successful execute a wide range of strategic Human Resources programs including those in workforce planning and development; recruitment, assimilation and retention; and inclusion and engagement.

Specific duties includes interpreting, applying, implementing and consulting/advising on a variety of initiatives such as compensation, performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, organizational change management, policy interpretation, and employee development. The Business Partner will ensure compliance related to company's policies, procedures, and business conduct as well as state and federal regulations.



Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or applicable field of studies and 10 years Human Resources Business Partner experience or Master's degree in Human Resources or applicable field of studies and 8 years Human Resources Business Partner experience.

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Director-level leaders and above in a dispersed environment.

  • 5+ years of employee relations experience; ability to manage conflict resolution.

  • 5+ years of experience with organizational and leadership-development.

  • Outstanding attention to detail.

  • Ability to work and manage multiple projects/priorities in a fast paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal-relationship; communication skills; and analytical skills.

  • Exceptional MS Office Suite skills.

  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with internal processes and procedures.

  • 5+ years of working in a large government contracting environment.
