The Director of Mergers & Acquisition & Divestitures supports the Corporation's growth and financial profitability objectives via acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures and other strategic alliances. This position acts as the company's business lead for all acquisition, divestiture, and merger-related activities - managing diverse groups of corporate, sector, business unit, and external subject matter experts; leading all business diligence, negotiations and transition-related activities; acting as the Business Management lead for all external consultant and investment banker relationships on company transactions. The position reports to the Vice President, Financial Strategy, Planning & M&A and will interact with all key members of the CFO's staff.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Leadership skills

  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting and analysis skills

  • Strong Program Management skills capable of leading large groups of geographically dispersed experts

  • Strong negotiation skills - Ability to work well with external buyers and sellers to define an executable transaction that works for both parties

  • Prior experience in large and complex organizations leading M&A transactions

  • Proven ability to work well with across all levels of management


Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 15 years of experience OR a Master's degree with 13 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree with 13 years of experience.
