Northrop Grumman Industrial Security Analyst 2/3 in Fairfax, Virginia

As a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), the position will develop and administer security programsand procedures for classified materials, documents, and equipment. Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepare manuals outlining regulations and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restrictedareas and materials. Conduct security education classes, security audits and internal self-inspections. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Well versed in personnel security and visit control procedures.

This position can be filled at either a level 2 or level 3.

MSSEC

This position can be filled at either a level 2 or level 3.

Basic Qualifications for a level 2:

Bachelors Degree and 3 years of experience or Masters degree with 1 year experience; experience in lieu of degree accepted.

Active TS/SSBI clearance with SCI eligibility.

Basic qualifications forlevel3:

Bachelors degree and 6+ years of related CPSO experience is required or 4 years with a Masters Degree; experience in lieu of degree accepted.

Active TS/SSBI clearance with SCI eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Experience with NISPOM, DCID and/ or ICD.

Self-starter with minimal supervision.

Current and working knowledge of the Intelligence Community.

Ability to display tact, discretion and diplomacy in dealing with all levels of employees.

The candidate must have the eagerness to adapt to and excel in a fast-paced work environment in a variety of program areas.

Willing to work flexible and extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

Excellent communication skills speaking, writing skills and organizational skills enabling effective communications.

Computer and desktop office software products experience.

Northrop Grumman policies and procedures familiarity.

Extensive experience with computers / desktop office software products.

Counterintelligence, Insider Threat and OPSEC program experience.
