Northrop Grumman Business Management Analyst 2 - Budget Analyst in Fairfax, Virginia

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Business Management Analyst 2 to join our team of excellent and & diverse individuals. Put your years of experience into a future of excellence. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems (MS) Sector Business Management and will play a pivotal role supporting MS Facility Business Management.

This position will be located in Fairfax, VA.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Facility Budget Analyst 2 include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist with creating and monitoring MS Facility cost pools and Facility rates

  • Prepare annual Facility Budgets

  • Review Actuals to Budgets monthly with Facility Managers and update forecast as needed

  • Monthly budget reporting - Input budget forecast into Cognos tool and explain variances as required

  • Submitting correction entries to Accounting as needed

  • Review of iBuy/Purchase Requests for correct account and cost center coding

  • Review of Facility invoices against Purchase Order terms & conditions

  • Set up of IWOs and networks for projects supporting facilities

  • Reconciliation of expenses

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and analytical skills, and ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

  • Bachelor degree or higherBusiness, Finance, or related disciplines with 3 years of business related experience - OR - Masters with 1 year of related experience.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • The willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time

  • US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • Knowledge of Government Accounting and FAR clauses

  • SAP & Government contracting experience
