Northrop Grumman seeks an entry level University Recruiter to assist with assigned universities focused on hiring the top students for our Aerospace Systems sector. This position is based in El Segundo, CA. This is an opportunity to join an amazing University Relations & Recruiting (UR&R) team that is dedicated to driving innovation and building the best workforce for the future for Northrop Grumman. Responsibilities include assisting with sourcing and screening talent from our core Universities, organization of campus recruiting events, scheduling campus and on-site interviews, onboarding and acclimation of new college hires across the Aerospace Systems sector.
Scope and Responsibilities:
Coordinate campus job postings, generate social media content and contribute to a wide range of branding initiatives.
Assist UR&R recruiters with targeted searches for top talent at our core universities.
Assist UR&R recruiters with screening candidates for Intern and Entry Level Engineering and Business roles.
Coordinate and schedule campus and on-site interviews.
Update candidate activity in applicant tracking system to ensure data integrity.
Assist in the development and analysis of UR&R metrics.
Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements that drive operating excellence.
Assist with the planning and execution of Intern Program events.
Coordinate activities (e.g. Onboarding Day 1 leadership speakers, Lunch and learns, Manage sessions) including but not limited to design, develop, and schedule day of coordination.
Source and recruit for other entry level needs as they arise.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business or related field of study.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office products.
Must be able to travel up to 20% during busy season (fall)
Must be able to work evening campus events
Overall GPA of 3.25 or better
Ability to consult with all levels of internal and external customers.
Ability to manage competing demands, adapt to changing business requirements and seek constructive feedback.
High energy level with the determination to persist even when faced with challenges.
Ability to function independently in a high-volume fast paced environment.
