Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Software Integration Engineer 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA.

Northrop Grumman's Aerospace Systems sector Distributed Autonomy / Responsive Control (DA/RC) team is seeking talented and highly motivated Software Engineers in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to perform prototyping and development of next generation advanced UAV Control and Mission Management Software. This project involves the

design and demonstration of algorithms in hands on environment through the use of micro-UAVs, surrogate aircrafts, and large scale software simulations. Software products and algorithms are further matured through integration with many programs such as UCAS, UCI, OMS, ANTX, etc.

The ideal candidate will have software development experience in C++ / JAVA programming, Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML), GUI development, complex algorithm development, and hands-on HW/SW integration skills in a lab and demonstration environment.

Primary responsibilities will be design, development, integration and testing of the prototype software. This person must enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic team environment. They should possess excellent communication and

interpersonal skills. This position offers a lot of growth opportunities to work with other highly energetic team members both within the immediate the team as well as coordinate collaborative development across projects and teams.


Basic Qualifications:

2 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a STEM related discipline; or 1 years of experience with a Master's degree

Relevant software development experience

Proficient in at least one of the following: C++, JAVA.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
