Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Analyst2 to work in El Segundo, California.

The Modeling and Simulation Analyst 2 will support the development of modeling and simulation for system performance and architecture.

EssentialDuties

  • SW developer with modeling, simulation, and analysisexperience to support demonstration and visualization activities andprojects

  • Modeling and Simulation experience with Matlab and/orPython

  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide analysis forcontract efforts as well as research and development activities

  • Strong analytical thinking and systems/SE approach

BasicQualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science degree in a STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) field from an accreditedinstitution and2 years of engineering experience in an aerospaceenvironment OR

  • Masters of Science degree in a STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) field from an accreditedinstitution

  • Modeling and Analysis experience inMatlab or other related modeling tools

  • Experience with C, C++, Perl orPython

  • Work experience with Model BasedSystems Engineering (MBSE), SysML, and/or Cameo

  • Active In-Scope DoD Top Secret SecurityClearance

PreferredQualifications:

  • Masters’ Degree in Engineering, Physics, ComputerScience, Operational Research, Applied Mathematics

  • Demonstrated modeling and analysisexperience working space program

  • Working knowledge in various aspectsof architecture modeling for Space and/or Unmanned Aerial Systems

  • Possesses strongleadership qualities, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
