Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager of Global Supply Chain 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Goods Movement/Logistics organization. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA . The GSC Manager 3 will lead a program or a function within the larger organizational unit, setting and operating to objectives and providing guidance to subordinates based on goals, objectives and company policy.
Duties and Responsibilities: This position reports to the GSC Goods Movement & Logistics Sector Director in Palmdale, CA for the Aeronautical Systems Sector. The position supports the Site Director & CoE Leader for El Segundo. The Manager will serve as the El Segundo Site manager for the Goods Movement (GM) and Logistics Site organization, and as the GSC point of contact; supporting all programs at the site. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the GM strategy with coordination from Sector Logistics leadership to support all El Segundo programs, with focus on achieving affordability targets, operational efficiency and First Time Quality. Candidate will also ensure proper parts protection/handling with support from Packaging Engineering and ensure Transportation coordination and compliance with the movement of program assets.

The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.
Master's degree with 4 years' experience OR a Bachelor's degree with 6 years experience, OR a High School Diploma/equivalent with 10 years' experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Operations Management
3 or more years' experience leading a large team to effectively execute a broad statement of work
Experience with manufacturing and supply chain operations with demonstrated and proven leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively at all levels
Ability to prepare and present executive-level presentations
MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) & knowledge of SAP
Familiarity with MMAS/DCMA/ISO 9001 requirements
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. (Clearance not required to start)
