Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a highly qualified, mission oriented Systems Test Engineer to perform on a team of cross-discipline specialist engineers, located in El Segundo, CA with responsibilities including (but not limited to) the following:

Position involves working with the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) System Test proposal team to plan system level integration and test tasks, write task descriptions (TD) for those System Test tasks, write the Basis of Estimates, and enumerate IMP/IMS products for the final GBSD Engineering Maturation Design (EMD) Request for Proposal (RFP) expected early next year.

  • Position requires substantial knowledge system integration and test processes

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required

  • Exposure to major proposals, program captures, and cost estimating

  • In-depth experience with preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree inElectrical Engineeringor other STEM related field and 9 years of related experience (7 with a M.S degree)

  • Experienceleading technical teams

  • Experience in Systems Engineering or Systems Integration and Test

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering briefings to senior leadership

  • Active in scope DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Basis of Estimate (BOE) andtask descriptionexperience

  • Experienceworking on aRough Order of Magnitude (ROM) as well as proposals

  • Prior Cost Account Management (CAM)experience

  • Prior experience on a missile program

  • Exposure to major proposals, program captures, and cost estimating.
