Northrop Grumman Dir Supply Chain 1 in El Segundo, California

Northrop Grumman is looking for a Director of Supply Chain. This individual will be afunctional leader of the Sourcing and GSC Operations organization for the AS Sector. Lead and manage Advanced Planning, Buy Material Requirements Planning, Strategic Sourcing & Agreements, Supplier Field management team, International sourcing & Supplier Diversity Program, Procurement System Compliance & GSC audit support, Metrics & Reporting and Process & command media maintenance. This position is responsible for providing enterprise support to the GSC Organizations and AS Sector and Corp Communities of Practice. Coordinate with Global Supply Chain management for known or pending program schedule deviations or changes and ensure all impacts are coordinated with the GSC Program Manager and GSC leadership. Determine Strategic sources that balance program objectives of affordability and performance while meeting Geopolitical, socio-economical and international, common product & spend/relationship leveraging and supplier risk management priorities. Support the VP of GSC with GSC strategies and goal development in support of LRSP and SOO objectives. Expand Global supply base, implement supplier total cost and risk management into source selections in support of financial goals. Insure command media alignment and process compliance to corporate and regulatory requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience in Supply Chain or related field.

  • Working knowledge of SAP

  • Proficiency using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

  • Active DoD Secret clearance with an investigation completed in the last 6 years

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA in a related discipline.

  • APICS Certification
